MISSING IN THE DAWSON AREA. $1000 REWARD

Link was last seen Saturday morning on our camp, a few km up Granville. This is not normal for him so I'm worried that someone picked him up not knowing where he belonged or may have thought he was a wolf and took defensive precautions.

He was wearing an orange high vis collar (shown in first photo) and a blue bandana but could have lost either. The tag on the collar says Parker's Camp. He's nine years old, missing a canine tooth, has brown eyes and shaved spots on his legs from recent injections. Very concerned due to his old age 🙁

Please if you see him or what you think is a grey wolf, DO NOT SHOOT. He is extremely friendly and food motivated. Will walk up to just about anyone looking for attention and treats.

I know not many people come out this far from town but if you see him in town or know someone who found a dog while they were out exploring, or any miners here, PLEASE message me or bring him to Parker's camp.

If you bring him indoors, do not leave him unattended in your house or vehicle. He has severe separation anxiety and will eat the interior.

Cash reward for his safe return, no questions asked. We love him and need him back

ADOPTABLE FEMALE BOXER/PITBULL:

Echo is seeking an active fur-ever home. She is 60lbs of love monkey, who wants nothing more than to be with her human. She is housebroken, spayed and up to date on shots and gets along with all kids, other dogs and cats.

Her current owner says: Meet Echo, a three year old boxer/pitt mix. She has lived with me for the last year and is a big love bug. She also lives with a Pug Cross and a Persian cat. Echo has her own crate that she believes is her bedroom and doesn’t mind spending time chillin. She is active and loves to play and snuggle. In fact, she would pick snuggling over most other activities including food.

I have developed some health issues that mean that I can't walk her as much as she needs, and it has become a problem. Echo needs more. I love this dog, but the lack of exercise is a problem that I can't fix. Echo would love to have a couple of people and or dogs to live with that would love some attention and would give it back to her. She walks well with a halti and wants to be a good girl and accepts direction well. She is not a dog for someone who can't maintain rules and boundaries. She is a powerful dog that will flourish with the right home.

All potential adopters are required to submit an adoption application and be approved. You can do this online here: yukonanimalrescue.net/adoption-application/

FOSTERS NEEDED IN WHITEHORSE
FOR TELEGRAPH CREEK PETS...
PLEASE SHARE...

Yukon Government has contacted YARN to ask about finding foster homes for the pets from Telegraph Creek fires. Some families from Telegraph Creek, will be moved to Whitehorse... Some may be able to keep their pets at the place they are housed, and some won't. The length of foster could be anywhere from a few days to 2 or 3 weeks...

Some of these families may have lost their homes and they and their pets are already traumatized... Only folks who have very securely fenced yards, or folks who are prepared to use a 100% leashing or tethering system would be used to foster these pets. Cats would only go to homes that are very strict about not allowing them outdoors...

Shoot me a message if you are willing to foster, so we can discuss your home situation and have you added to the list that the government will provide to evacuee's...

UPDATE: FOSTER FOUND FOR THE 2 CATS.
______________________________
Got room for a couple of felines in your life for awhile...? Read more below about a couple of cats needing a place to be for now...

Original Post: Kona's Coalition is seeking a long-term foster (or potential forever home) for two 10-year old cats. These lovelies are brother and sister, and MUST be homed together. Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances, their humans have had to move. They are indoor cats who have been raised with multiple dogs. They warm up to humans, children and dogs with a little love and patience. They enjoy cuddles, long naps and not respecting personal space. 🙂 If you are willing to help a family out with either a long-term foster or permanent adoption, please contact us. We will PM photos and more details for interested candidates. ANIMAL LOVERS UNITE!!
