Sassy is a 9 year old spayed female Shepherd Cross? Her dad rescued her from a shelter back in 2007… And everything has been wonderful. Recently she started developing car sickness when they went on longer trips. When her owners dad became terminally ill, they jumped in the car together (in Alaska) and headed down to Texas… But Sassy became so ill that her owner was forced to drop her off at YARN Nursery in Watson Lake. He seriously thought she would die if he made her go the whole way. She was loosing fur, shaking uncontrollably, drooling and vomiting.

She doesn’t seem to suffer car sickness just riding around town. It’s the longer trips and especially in mountainous regions… Because her owners life involves a lot of long distance traveling now, he has decided that she will need a new home with a stationary lifestyle to enjoy her remaining years…

She is a really sweet, lovable, quiet, girl… who will make a wonderful companion dog for a family. She gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on shots.
