ADOPTABLE SMALL ORANGE DOG:

This little dude is named “Nello.” He is 2 to 3 years old … and could he be a Terrier Cross…? He is a small/medium sized dog, who is looking for his fur-ever home.

Nello’s house-breaking is a work in progress. He always lets you know when he wants to go outside, but also has a problem with marking his territory – as he is not yet neutered. It was completely in the plans when his owner adopted him from a shelter, but a life change resulted in the loss of any transportation methods from a small community, and the owners job provided limited opportunities to do so.

Nello spends considerable time humping other pets and has to be leashed on walks to prevent him challenging other males, so needless to say, the first order of business when Nello reaches Whitehorse is his neutering – with the hopes that he loses these attributes. His adoption fee will be exactly the cost of his neutering.

He gets along with cats. And is great with all humans including kids. Nello is a very loving and obedient little guy, but it does take a few minutes for him to get comfortable with new folks… Proper introduction will fix that.
